Meet the Partners
Verterra Ecological Engineering integrates soil science, regulatory expertise and on-ground delivery to recover and treat nutrients from biosolids, restore soil structure, fertility and biological function and improve agricultural productivity and landscape rehabilitation outcomes.
Verterra is an active member of the Australian New Zealand Biosolids Partnership and the Australian Organics Recycling Association (AORA), and a Silver member of the Australian Water Association.
Within BYV Organics Verterra is responsible for:
· Testing and treatment of biosolids
· Compliance with end of waste code and environmental approvals
· Soil sampling, land assessments and on-ground application
· Monitoring and reporting
B&Y Services specialises in water and wastewater infrastructure, liquid and regulated waste handling and beneficial reuse of water and wastewater treatment residuals. B&Y Services operates a fleet of 20 ultra-modern vacuum tankers and 10 specialised solid waste trucks across Queensland, delivering sustainable solutions to Queensland households, local government and business.
Within BYV Organics B&Y Services is responsible for:
· Transport and logistics
· On-site delivery and storage
· Real-time tracking and reporting of operations
BYV Organics has partnered with QADO Ventures – a subsidiary of Rephyt Ltd – to develop a new Bio-fertiliser facility within the South Burnett region. The proposed facility will convert biosolids into a dry, pelletised fertiliser ready for use on local farms.
